On January 27th, students enrolled in 
the Science, Engineering and Technology (SET) Academy program at Avonworth were given a presentation in Academy Leader Mr. Wolfe’s class on many career choices for science, specifically chemistry.
The presenter, Jon Grant, who works for Bayer and taught the class about different types of jobs for people who enjoy chemistry. The list included jobs from Salespeople to Lawyers. Each job is backed with a knowledge of what the product they are advertising or informing potential customers about. There is also jobs in making the products of course and having this is an important skill to any of the jobs in this field.
Grant himself goes on to say how these careers are amazing for those who enjoy chemistry but also those who don’t want to be directly involved but are still interested. As Grant said, “Getting paid more money for something you like, is something you should think about.”
