It’s Thursday afternoon, and Steelers Nation should be excited about tonight’s anticipated game against the Baltimore Ravens. This game is going to let the fans see what the rest of the season is going to look like. The Ravens are coming into this game with a record of 0-3, in a way they have caught a break, considering Ben Roethlisberger’s absence from the game they have a little more of a chance.
Although Vick is a veteran of the game, it could be hard for him to keep up and lead the offense the way Roethlisberger does. It is true that Brown and Roethlisberger have a chemistry on the field we have all seen and believe that after witnessing the way they can pick up yards and advance down the field. Vick is not going to be able to do that with Brown the way Big Ben does.
For the Ravens they have been close to winning their games this season however they fell short all three times. With Ben out of the mix they have more of a chance of stealing the win if they keep it a tight all game long. However I don’t think they will be able to do that as long as the Steelers use their backs to full capacity. Vick’s goal this game should just be to survive.
It will be a tougher game than expected. Given the fact that the Ravens are the Steelers rival and they are hungry for a win they will jump on the chance they have now that Ben is out. There is not much left to say considering we have not seen Vick for an extensive amount of time, who knows he may surprise us. I see the Steelers winning this game, either 17-10 or 21-10.
