Former NL MVP Pittsburgh Pirates stud Andrew Mccutchen was traded to the San Francisco Giants last week capping off an awful week for Pittsburgh sports fans. Mccutchen was the best player this town has seen in a very long time. He was a five-time all-star and the star of the Pirates for the last many years winning the MVP in 2014.
Older fans of the Pirates are getting used to this happening over and over again: Having a star player and letting him go because they don’t wanna pay him. These older fans are loyal and will not stop being fans ever. But the younger fans in high school are starting to lose faith in them and not wanting to support them anymore.
