The girls soccer team won 15 games, lost 1, and tied 1. They did amazing this year and they made it to the WPIAL playoffs. They won The Semi-Finals 3-0. They also ranked #3 in the state
Although they lost the finals to North Catholic, they had a historic run that starts the 2020’s with more WPIAL championship-level competition as the high mark for Avonworth sports. Especially during a pandemic, this is a meaningful accomplishment.
