For some students, 8 AM on Monday morning, January 25th, wasn’t very different compared to Monday’s in December and much of November. But for Group A students, it was the return into the high school for the first in-person day of schooling since Friday, November 12th.
Here is a glimpse of the first day back, from new lockers and a move of the senior locker decorations to the return of the Lopes Lounge and students in the cafe’s or the lobby.
Also new is the setup for Mrs. Ewell’s 12th grade English classes, which are too large for classrooms in hybrid limits, so she has moved into the auditorium and has a room mic set up for her to teach to virtual students and her students spread throughout the auditorium at the same time.
