After two years of pandemic-adjusted courses, the 2021-2022 school year ended with a more traditional large-group final for two CHS classes. Mr. Johncour’s CHS Stats class and Mr Aguiar’s CHS American Politics class both held the final over multiple MODS in the LGI – similar to a college final. Mr. Johncour’s e-mail to staff detailed the reasons for this format.
“The University of Pgh Stats Dept asks that the final exam for CHS stats be given on the same day to all Stats students. Similar to an AP exam. I have discussed a time with administration and the CHS Stats exam is being administered on May 24th from 8am-11am in the LGI. “
Anywhere from 40-50 students completed these finals, many of which were seniors finishing up their last week at Avonworth High School.
