Junior Zoe Trexel added onto the lively and often tangential atmosphere of cartoons drawn by classmate Jack Blaser across Mr. Mancini’s whiteboards in room 307. Here is a look at Trexel’s artwork, Blaser’s artwork, and the end result of Mancini’s Bread showing a little bit of public support.

Below is the Mancini’s Bread Turkey and Christmas Tree. After is a bit of Jack Blaser’s cartoon work.
Also working with history, but for Trexel’s AP English Language course, she added artwork representing Pittsburgh Jazz Pianist Mary Lou Williams, the Pittsburgh Courier, and Andrew Carnegie onto the mural she completed with Kyra Carlson at the end of 2021. Trexel was inspired by the book Smoketown, which she read in the class, to add Williams and the Courier.
