Throughout the first 6 weeks of the 22-23 NFL season, many players have shattered our expectations and others have let us down. Coming into week one, the runner-ups of the 21-22 Super Bowl Cincinnati Bengals had an upsetting loss against the Pittsburgh Steelers. A player that shined above all others was that year’s Offensive Rookie Player of the year with a total of over 1,900 receiving yards and blew up with a shattering 130 yards receiving and a touchdown, Ja’Marr Chase.
In addition to players meeting and exceeding expectations was 7-time Super Bowl winner Tom Brady with 212 passing yards along with a passing touchdown. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers overcame the Dallas Cowboys and a hurting Dak Prescot who had to get surgery on his finger. Moving along to weeks 4 and 5, Austin Ekleer of the LA Chargers rushed for a total of 209 yards and 2 rushing touchdowns while accomplishing 73 receiving yards with only 20 targets in both games. But what shall we expect going forward and into week 7 of the season?
We can only guess that the players and teams that have been dominating their divisions like both the Kansas City Chiefs and Buffalo Bills but also look out for smaller-ranked teams like the Tennessee Titans and the Baltimore Ravens to climb higher up the ladder and be teams to be feared.
