2022 was a kind of middle-of-the-road year, but it did have some iconic things. These things will be what I look back on when I think of this year, and what made my year the most it could be.

Even though this song in my opinion is easily one of the most basic and awful song of 2022, it is hard to deny that this song isn’t synonymous with 2022
2 Drake Albums
Both drake’s newest two albums this year were not that good in my opinion. The best thing that came out o them is the different sound trends on TikTok.
Forever Story – JID
I think that this was the best album of the year. The story-telling and beautiful melodies were highlights.
Melt My Eyes See Your Future – Denzel Curry
This album came out early this year and is one of my favorites. The release of the deluxe version with more soulful elements added to the songs is a big reason for my enjoyment of the album.

Will Smith Slap
Just considering who was involved in this moment was great. It leads to a lot of good Tiktoks.
Wordle
I don’t like wordle much but the games made branching off of it are very fun.
YSSN Nino
Nino was by far my favorite TikToker of the year. Him saying “text you mom this” is easily the best thing that ever happened on the app.
