Since the start of the new year, we have been given many surprising and entertaining sports matches from the NFL. Over this past weekend, we had the Eagles match against the 49ers in the NFC championship, with the Eagles prevailing and going on to the super bowl. Rookie Brock Purdy had a fantastic but cut-short career as he started only his first 4 games from weeks 14-18. He was the last pick of the 2022 draft and nicknamed “Mr. Irrelevant” as being the last person to be picked is typically not a great sign that you will play much.
He had the pressure of starting his first game as Jimmy Garoppolo broke his foot during the game against the Miami Dolphins on December 4th. Even with his upsetting loss in the NFC championship game, he still proved himself and his determination to keep playing to win. Getting hurt in the 1st quarter, he came back later in the 4th to help his team try to get back in the game, but with a severe hand injury, all he was able to do was run the ball.
