On Friday September 8th, Avonworth Football crushed Sto Rox on the road at Sto Rox High School. Avonworth walked into this game confident that they could get another win, coming off of their close win against Central Valley.
Sophomore Carson Bellinger threw a dime to senior Andrew Kuban, pictured below from his Hudl highlight page, which gave Avonworth the lead 6-0 in the first quarter. 
Avonworth worked in the first half and really set the tone with a major lead of the score being 41-0.
The second half Avonworth didn’t score at all, but Sto Rox scored 1 touchdown, which cut the Lopes lead to 41-6.
The final score of the game was 41-6 Avonworth and they came home with another win under their belt.
Additionally, the winning ways continued for Coach Johncour as well, notching his 100th career win.
