Winter Sports captains previewed upcoming games and a few courageous students represented their grades in two events during the Winter Pep Rally on Friday, December 15th.

The full student body at Avonworth packed into the gym bleachers for the Winter Pep Rally. Sophomore Sam Kline commented that this one was the loudest one he had ever been to…if 90% of the school was in attendance, that’s over 500 students on the bleachers.
Nate Kashaba, standing center in the photo in grey, celebrated with students in the bleachers after winning the musical chairs competition at the Winter Pep Rally for the sophomore class. When asked about his strategy, he answered “I made sure to change my pace and distance between other players.” He also said that his favorite person he was able to beat was his sister Kelly Kashaba.
