On May 24, 2024, The Garfield Movie, starring voices like Chris Pratt, Samuel L. Jackson, and Snoop Dogg released into theaters. The movie is directed towards kids and it doesn’t really seem to be anything special. It just seems like the people behind Garfield are trying to keep the character popular and common to newer generations. I’m not saying that there is anything wrong with that but I just feel that there are other things that could be introduced or expanded on that kids would like more. Throwing Chris Pratt in this movie also just adds to his random and frequent collection of voice roles.
