Read Time:44 Second
When I see an adaptation of something that I used to like when I was a kid, I’m often excited about it and want to see how they expand on the story and the characters that I grew up enjoying…Harold and the Purple Crayon releasing on August 2 is an exception. Harold and the Purple Crayon was one of my favorite books to read before going to sleep at night. It had a fun story that helped my child-self stay interested but that was really it. I don’t know how they are going to turn it into a full-feature film with it still being the same story everyone knows it as. At some point, I will eventually watch it just to see how it compares but I am fairly positive that this movie will not do very well once it comes out.
