Paul Skenes will pitch in his 3rd start at 12:35 tomorrow. The San Fransico Giants have to face Jared Jones and Paul Skenes back-to-back days. The rookie phenoms are tough for any team to face. I went around the halls of Avonworth High School to ask students about their thoughts about the rookie’s pitching.
Senior Luke Garda said, “I think the pitching from Jared Jones so far has been very good. I think the addition of Skenes has allowed us to have outstanding pitching.”

I agree with both of these people. I think Jared Jones and Paul Skenes make the Pirates a way better team. The starting rotation has seemed to find its way into the top rotations in baseball. The bullpen is also a top 5 bullpen in the league with other big arms. The Pirates just need to find their way in the batter’s box and they will be successful.
Both pitcher are very fun to watch.
