Avonews Online reporters enrolled in Journalism 1 walked around the campus during the last half hour of the school day on Wednesday, October 23rd. Here’s a glimpse at the colors, sights, structure, and changes happening around Avonworth High School as the second year of construction continues on campus.

Weather during the week of October 21st., 2024 featured sunshine-filled days with highs in the 70s before a cold front dropped temperatures into the upper 50s.
Construction continues on campus in October 2024, with cranes and other equipment either in use or on the campus, including the former senior lot and faculty lot.
Piled dirt off the parking lot is another sign of ongoing construction, with plans for new building as well as renovations on campus through summer 2025.
