October 2024 AHS Overview: Return of the Halloween Parade, Look Back at Homecoming Pep Rally, Sights Around Campus

Pictured first are some of the seniors who walked the renovated halls behind the marching band on Thursday, October 31st, bringing back a tradition dormant since COVID in 2020. Later, pictures of Cheer as well as student participants led by Ms. Wahl and Student Council President Siena Schwartz during the Fall Pep Rally on Friday, October 11th.

Class of 2025 celebrated the return of the Halloween parade during Mod A, including Moriah and Kendall front right as John C Reilly and Will Ferrell in Stepbrothers. New band director Cory Neville led the marching band in front of the library, including the new library sign and the installed special lights.

A marshmallow toss competition between grade levels resulted in potential illnesses for those freshmen who ate leftover marshmallows off of the gym floor

Additions and renovations continued throughout October – including a Drop Zone for athletic bags, new tables in the cafe and new places to hang flyers, and continued additions like flooring near the exit doors between Mrs. Shumaker and Mr. Mancini’s rooms.
