Senior Luke Chrissis stopped by Journalism 1 at the start of December to share some background on a new LEAD opportunity for students looking to get out some of their stored up energy. Chrissis’s senior project consists of a handful of teams built up with JV football players, and coached by seniors who also double as QB. Games will run throughout December and January during LEAD up to the Winter Pep Rally in January. Chrissis detailed his hopes for the project as well as the difficulty of putting together a game schedule, assisted with Chat GPT, and then getting staff support from learning support staff membere Mr. Syam after working with Dr. Dwulit to re-arrange his schedule.
Teams contribute $10 total to play and all proceeds are donated to The Lopes Lounge.
