Students throughout Avonworth High School gathered to watch the pep rally in the high school gym. Only two games were played: musical chairs and Human Chain. Although 9th through 11th found hype in being together on a Friday afternoon for a pep rally, some of those students disapproved of the repeated pep rally games.

The cheerleaders changed it up this year by wearing new shirts in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness month, as well as performing a combination of dance and gymnastics before a few modified stunts. The squad had to make changes just one day before to accommodate for an injured member.
Students and faculty attempt and struggle to create a human chain across the gym. Each group is divided by grade, with one becoming the winner. The faculty won overall and the juniors won between all four grades.
Student Council wrapped up the Pep Rally at the end of Mod G, leaving the band playing “Industry Baby” as the bleachers emptied out.
