What happened
Going into the NFL trade deadline, a theme that kept popping up all over social media was the Steelers’ need for another wide receiver. One name that was associated with the Steelers was Chris Olave.
As it stands now, the Saints, the team Olave is currently with, are 1-8 and don’t seem to be improving at all.
Why not trade away someone?
Outside of not getting a receiver at the deadline. Another thing that steelers fan wanted was to try and get rid over some defensive guys that are taking up a lot of this team’s salary cap. Why did they not get rid of anyone in general? As a fan, I don’t know why. But there got to be something that the Steelers see as an organization that we don’t see as a fan that thinks they can win with this team.
What Changed?
This offseason saw some big changes from Omar Khan, the Steelers GM, by adding Pro Bowl wide receiver DK Metcalf and Super Bowl-winning quarterback Aaron Rodgers.
So why no moves now? Again, no clue. They must see something where they didn’t need to make a move. Ever since Omar Khan stepped in it seems like hes made many moves during both the offseason and the trade deadline, so this is like new thing that left many fans both shocked and surprised.
