This year, numerous artists released albums that made noise worldwide. In no particular order, let’s take a look at some of the most popular:

A Man’s Best Friend – Sabrina Carpenter

This album, containing the hit song “Manchild”, had a total of 12 tracks. On its first day of release, it received 64.4 million streams on Spotify, one of the biggest female debuts of 2025.

The Life of a Showgirl – Taylor Swift

This piece had nearly 250 million on its first day on Spotify, making it the second highest in history, behind her 2024 album, The Tortured Poets Department. The album also made it big on Apple Music, breaking the record for the most-streamed album in a single day.

Music – Playboi Carti

Containing a whopping 30 songs, Music had some major collaborations with Kendrick Lamar, Travis Scott, and The Weeknd. This is the artist’s first album release since 2020.

Virgin – Lorde

The critics definitely approved of this album, for it received an 82 on Metacritic. It is Lorde’s shortest album, as it’s only 35 minutes in length. Her tour that kicked off in September 2025 will feature this album in addition to Ultrasound.

Addison – Addison Rae

Addison Rae, once known as only a Tik Tok star and influencer, has been making waves in the music industry. Addison, her debut album, reached the #4 position on the Billboard 200 in the United States and soared to #2 in both the United Kingdom and Australia.

I’m the Problem – Morgan Wallen

With this release, Morgan Wallen had 37 songs (the entire album) simultaneously on the Billboard Hot 100. He is the first country artist to hold the No. 1, 2, and 3 spots simultaneously on this same chart.

Debí Tirar Más Fotos, translated in English to “I Should’ve Taken More Photos”, is Bad Bunny’s 7 th studio album. The record broke countless streaming records–many of which were held by Bad Bunny himself. Overall, Bad Bunny was crowned the #1-most-streamed artist globally on Spotify for the 4th time.

This album cover is a tribute to lost loved ones and his Puerto Rican culture. It emphasizes his heritage.

Mayhem – Lady Gaga

Highlighted by the massively successful duet “Die With a Smile”, Gaga became the first artist to have over 5 billion streams across the 2000s, 2010s, and 2020s on Spotify.
