Chipotle on Josephs Lane, leftover snow from January’s massive snowstorm, and a mix of temperatures were the storylines for AHS throughout February. Monday, February 9th was a two hour delay due to cold temperatures and Wednesday, February 25th, for a morning coating of snow during the rush hour commute.
A look at the the two hour delays and remote learning days posted on the district’s instagram, all in the last week of January. February only had 2 two hour delays due to weather.
A view in late February from next to the drop zone – snow had melted entirely, no leaves yet.The courtyard in mid February, a thin coating of fresh snow from one of the smaller snowfalls throughout the month.
Weather wise, the month alternated from snowy mornings to rain soaked afternoons, including this one with a view from the Open Mod area close to the Foods room.A view from the LGI in later February, a small amount of snow still left outside the baseball outfield (and middle school soccer field)A packed Chipotle at night, just weeks after its opening on Josephs Lane down the street from the high school. For more about having another food option besides Sheetz, but even closer to the high school, see our coverage on the website.Last day of February, first period, looking out to the front parking lot.Another impact was the winter weather on Ski Club – too warm in January, too frigid in temperature to stick to the pre-made schedule.
