As Avonworth High School students prepare for their upcoming midterms, they share their favorite songs to listen to while they are studying. Some students listen to background music, while others like to sing along while completing their work. The songs are as follows:
“Desert Dream” by Shuteen Erdenebaatar and Nils Kugelmann (Lily Stefanik, 12th)
She enjoys listening to this song while studying as it provides chill background music.
“Love Me Not” by Ravyn Lenae (Kara Yackoski, 9th)
It’s a peppy song that puts Kara in a good mood, which helps with studying.
“Human” by Cody Johnson (Charlotte Klingenberg, 9th)
Charlotte listens to it every morning, and it has become a significant part of her school day.
“I Told You Things” Gracie Abrams (Dylan Puck, 9th)
He chose this song “because it’s a fire song.”
“Let It Happen” Tame Impala (Alexandra Eberhardt, 10th)
She likes the consistent beat of this song, and Tame Impala is one of her favorite artists.
“Red Leather” J. Cole, Future, Metro Boomin (Luke Janicki 12th)
He said that this is a calm song, and he likes listening to calm songs.
“This is What Makes Us Girls” by Lana Del Ray (Savannah Hoffman 10th)
She said that the song was relaxing and overall a great song.
“Idle Town” by Conan Gray (Melody Zheng, 10th)
It is a non-distracting song that is pretty calm and serves as good background music while studying.
