After a planning phase, Mrs. James and Mrs. Weyant look to sponsor student video announcements starting in the fall of 2026, depending upon student interest. Initial meetings were held on Friday, May 23rd during both LEADs to explain initial needs and possibilities. Junior Harrison McAfee looks to lead the return of video announcements, which will be broadcast from a prior Athletic Director’s office (Mrs. Andrea Patton) using greenscreen technology. The current plan is record ahead of time and aim for a weekly broadcast, shown by faculty during LEAD sessions.
Sophomore Harrison McAfee is the core student supporting the return of the announcements, as he wants to study media production and also had a key role in this year’s musical. Harrison worked with Mrs. James to set up interest meetings on Friday, May 23rd, pictured here in the LGI. Students have until Friday May 29th to sign up.
