The Steelers are playing the Jacksonville Jaguars in the second round of the NFL playoffs. Pittsburgh is coming off their first round bye week as the number two team in the AFC, while the Jaguars are coming off their low offensive 10-3 win over the Buffalo Bills.
The Steelers keys to winning this game will first of all not being rusty coming off their first round bye. Next the offense has to perform at the high level they have been at the second half of the season. The three offensive stars the Killer B’s have to come up with big games. Bell has to perform the way he has all season, Ben has to have a solid game, and Antonio Brown coming back for his first game in a few weeks has to come up with a big performance. Next the defense has to perform a lot better than they did the first time around they played the Jaguars. The Steelers got whooped 30-9 with a huge game from Jaguars star running back Leonard Fournette. The defense has to slow him down this time around if they want to win. The Jaguars quarterback Blake Bortles should not be a huge problem since he has been struggling the past three weeks only putting up 87 passing yards against the Buffalo Bills.
The way the Jaguars have a chance of winning this game is if they get a huge performance from Fournette, Bortles can come with just a avergae game and their solid defense finds a way to stop the Steelers surging offense. Last game the Jaguars exposed Pittsburgh’s defense a lot with Fournette. If they can do this again and he has a huge game they have a good chance of winning.
I think the Steelers are going to win in a close game. They will get a big game from the KIller B’s especially from Big Ben two time super bowl champion who knows how to play in big moments. The Steelers D should know how to keep Fournette in check now and if they can do that the Jaguars will be struggling to get any offense going and the Steelers should come out with the win and move on to the AFC Championship game.
