Avonworth Boys’ Cross Country Team Wins Cooper’s Lake Invitational

Earlier today, the Avonworth cross country team competed in the Coopers Lake Invitational. In windy conditions, the Boys’ team was able to capture first place as a team and place 3 runners, Michael Noethiger, Andrew Domencic, and Colton Fritts, in the top 12 overall in class “A.” The team scored 69 points to beat out Sewickley Academy and OLSH to win the race. The girls’ team took 6th place as a team, and was lead by Rachel Gaugler and Jennie Morris who finished 23rd and 26th, respectively.
