‘Yikes’ is what all Steelers fans should be thinking right about now. Either that or just ‘oh well.’ As soon as we get Big Ben in the lineup he gets injured yet again. This time with a sprain in the foot which he received in the last game against the Raiders. Even though Roethlisberger has said he is not ruling out the possibility of him playing on the 15th against the Browns, that is most likely just wishful thinking. Even if he would be in the lineup would be be the same? However Steelers fans don’t have much to worry this week. After all it is only the Browns who are 2-7, and the Steelers have shown us that they can prepare for and win a game without Ben. After that, it is a bye week so the next game will not be until the 29th against the Seattle Seahawks. There is a higher possibility that Ben will be in for that game but even with him in there is a possibility for failure, after all he is not the team.
After the game on the 29th the Steelers have two more tough games ahead of them against the Bengals on December 13th and the Broncos the following week. Other than that the rest of the schedule is left with teams the Steelers can surely overcome. As long as the Steelers can beat the Browns in the upcoming game and the Seahawks after that I have good feelings of the team ending this season with a record of 9-7.
