The Do Something club has begun their annual Teens for Jeans drive. The jeans will be given to homeless teens and children who need something to wear. In the U.S. there are over one million homeless people under the age of 18. This drive hopes to destigmatize homeless youth by making them feel better about themselves.
In the past Avonworth has donated 500 jeans. You can donate gently worn jeans, this year there will be two raffles for Sheets gift cards. One raffle is for a 20$ card one ticket is given for each jean donated, the other is 5$ given to the best photo uploaded to #avonwortht4j.
Jeans can be donated till Feb 3 when the drive ends.
