After the 21-12 win against Charleroi, Avonworth proudly makes it to the next round where they are confident in beating Riverside.
A question circling the school is, “are we going to make it to the next round?”
With the fan bus full and overflowing onto other buses, there is supposedly going to be a good turn out.
Juniors Alex Goeden and Nick Weiser both think their defense is strong enough to stop Riverside. Alex said, “Yes I think we have a chance because we’re good at stopping the run.” Ben Calloway, a junior, said he also thinks that we’ll beat Riverside. He said, “I think we’ll win because I feel confident in our game time.”
Avonworth seems pretty confident that they will take the win from Riverside at Seneca Valley and move onto the next round in the WPIAL playoffs. We also got the opinion of one of the coaches for the team, Mr. Johncour. He said “We will win because we are bigger, harder, faster, stronger, faster. If we play a great game, we win.”
