As the weather gets colder and the snow starts to fall we know we are entering boys and girls basketball season! We asked students what they expect from this years season.
Nicole Costa, a senior who is on the girls basketball team, says that she expects a great season. “I’m confident we will make it to championships and to WPIAL’s this year. Although some teams may be hard to beat, we can definitely do it.”
There are also many students who don’t play that are expecting a good turnout. Senior Tyler Smith said “I’m going to try to go to the home games this year. I think both the boys and girls can do really well this year if they put their minds to it.”
The boys have their first home game December 15th at 7:00 against Union, hopefully the lopes will get us a win!
