March 14th, 2018 was a day of a community-organized school walkout to support gun control legislation on top of a scheduled two-hour delay. In the same mix was also a national celebration of the day’s date, 3/14, but in math terms. Today was Pi Day.
Around AHS, students did not have any particular celebrations or recognition from IM 1 through AP Stats. But in the middle school, Mrs. Potter added in food and festivities to celebrate this mathematical icon.
