Lopes Baseball Adds New Banners Around Ballpark

If you visit the baseball field this year, some sights are the same but you’ll also find a few new visuals. The boosters added a personalized touch by providing team banners, ones somewhat similar to what you’ll find for your other team sports.

The scoreboard that can be seen on the far back left side of the field that keeps the score during the baseball team’s home games
Four baseballs display four out of the eight seniors name on the back of the spectator bleachers
The other four baseballs can be seen on the other spectator bleachers
The senior banners hang behind the dugout on the cage
The Avonworth Baseball sign can be seen next to the visitor dugout to show our school spirit
The junior varsity team is displayed in their new uniforms on the dugout so spectators know who is on the team
The varsity players also have a picture on the dugout so you know who is on that team
A sign that shows the support of the community and who sponsors the baseball team
