My alarm clock rings at 9:30 AM, sometimes I’m awake before that, other times I’m not. I call my boyfriend to wake up, right after my alarm goes off. It gives us some time to talk, since we haven’t been able to see each other due to COVID-19.
After I call him, I set off to look at my phone, checking to see what assignments I have due today and which ones are just being assigned.
Once that’s done, I spend a decent time playing around on my phone, until finally, I decide to sit up and grab my computer. I’ve been doing homework from my bed, which isn’t ideal, but it’s at least comfy. I log on and take my attendance, checking my emails to double check the assignments I need to do today. Once I know I am “at school” for the day, I head to my kitchen to grab my breakfast. Then I sit back down in my bed and begin to work.
I get distracted easily while doing my work, so it is not uncommon for me to still be doing it anywhere between 7:00pm-11:00pm. Yesterday was one of my lucky days. I moved to sit downstairs, hoping a new environment will improve my work, and continued to work from around 2:00pm-9:00pm. I stopped to eat dinner at some point. Then when I went back to doing my work, I was watching The Deadliest Catch with my dad and during the commercials I continued to work.
After finishing my work around 9:00pm, everyone in my family is starting to get ready for bed, so I join them. I then go back downstairs to eat some cookies and watch more TV as a way for me to relax. I watched Shawshank Redemption and Murder, She Wrote.
At around 12:00am-12:30am, I am finally ready for bed, waiting for the next day with a slightly new routine to come.
