With the HS Covid Case load at 4, the senior class worked with Mrs. Dwuilt to put together a Prom Court/Spring Sports Pep Rally the week of the Prom, May 13th.
While the senior girls were willing to stay through MOD H, the entire group of boys on the court chose the “Senioritis” route and did not attend the assembly, led by Lauren Binley.
The next day, Friday, May13, all seniors were excused from attending school because of Prom, which will be held at PPG Aquarium.
Many in the junior class were either attending prom and had a dismissal after 9:30, MOD B, or were part of the 30 + students attending Kennywood Day through the Physics classes. The student council officers also attended Kennywood
Over 60 sophomores either left early, had an early dismissal, or were absent.
The freshman class had a more usual absence or early dismissal rate, around 20 students.
