Days before the 50th anniversary rematch between the Raiders and the Steelers, running back Franco Harris passed away at the age of 72.
Part of what was voted recently as the greatest play in NFL history, Harris was scheduled to have his jersey retired during the Christmas Eve game at Acrisure stadium on Saturday.
Steelers fans throughout the school were saddened by the loss, as were many others throughout the Pittsburgh area.
