This year there are popular albums, artists, and rising singers making their way to Pittsburgh. Here are 4 concerts to look forward to in 2023:
Taylor Swift:
Taylor’s Era Tour is coming to Acrisure Stadium on June 16 & 17. She is accompanied by Girl in Red as well as Gracie Abrams. Taylor’s most recent album Midnights has been a big hit. She plans to perform bits from all of her albums such as Reputation, Evermore, Red, Lover, etc. Ticket prices have been very expensive and very hard to get since they sold out within the first day.
Morgan Wallen:
For all the country fans out there, Morgan Wallen is making an appearance in Pittsburgh on June 14 & 15. He is accompanied by Hardy, Ernest, and Bailey Zimmerman. The most recent album by Wallen is Dangerous: The Double Album which was released in 2021. He has also released a series of singles that will be performed at PNC Park. Tickets are still currently available for purchase.
Ed Sheeran & Khalid:
Two extremely popular artists, Ed Sheeran & Khalid, are making their way to Pittsburgh on July 8 for the +-=÷X tour. They are performing at Acrisure Stadium at 6 pm. Ed Sheeran hasn’t released a lot of new music, but he released a newer version of his album “=” designed for the tour that added 9 additional songs. Tickets are still available for purchase.
Donnie Iris & The Cruisers:
Donnie, an American rock musician, was extremely popular in the 1970s and continues to perform constantly. They will be appearing at the UPMC Events Center on March 11. He is best known for his work with the Jaggerz and Wild Cherry prior to collaborating with his band, the Cruisers, in the 1980s. Tickets are still currently available for purchase. Also, he sang the National Anthem here before Girls Volleyball this year.
