Slap fighting started in Russia around 2017 and it really hasn’t got popular in the US until now, with Dana White crossing over from MMA into the Power Slap event held in Las Vegas.
What do AHS students think of it?
Kennan Terry said “I think its really funny to watch, but it kinda gets old if watching for a while.”
Many interviewed agreed, suggesting the first few slaps are funny and cool to watch, but then the event itself just gets repetitive.
Junior Owen Madelena said “I think its hilarious but dumb.”
Overall, students interviewed agreed with Owen’s viewpoint. For most people, it might be dumb, but if they do watch, they find it fun.
