After only .2 inches of snow throughout the entire month of February, the Pittsburgh region finished up Winter and 70 – 80 degree temperatures have returned in early April – to end the month, regular April showers.
Students may have felt but not noticed that the lack of icy mornings, measurable snowfall, or a combination meant no virtual learning days at home this winter due to weather.
Avonews Online staff didn’t miss the lack of virtual days, which have replaced the traditional snow day.
This February we have had little to no snowfall at all. Its been the lowest that it’s been since 1983-94 and it was 0.6.
