Boys baseball finished section play with 9 wins and 1 loss, including a 17-1 victory, a non-section win over Morgantown, WV on WVU’s field, and a no-hitter by Senior Colin Crawford.
This is the second section championship for the team since 2020, which graduates 9 seniors including Crawford and Mason Horwat, who will head to PSU in 2023-24.
Is this the highlight for a special group of players, great coaching, or a combination of both? One player appreciates the 2023 staff.
“They {Coach Bywalski and his staff} are some of the best coaches they have had,” said sophomore Alex Rowe about his current coaches, ” they are very relatable. They make it easy for me and my friends to talk and they were easy to get to know and they are very helpful when it comes to baseball needs and training.”
