The 2-hour delay schedule is slightly different from last year in a way that could make some students happy and others stressed. The difference is that mod H and I are split up, and are separated by C and D. Last year, they were a double mod, so you would not have to switch back and forth between classes.
Sophomore Zoe Boyd, who has a double mod during H/I said that, “I think it’s annoying because it’s frustrating to have to leave and to get your brain to adjust to that other class, while still thinking about the class you have to return to.”
Another sophomore, Mara Stetser, was asked about how she felt about the two hour delay and said, “I really like 2 hour delays because the classes are shorter, and I get to sleep in.”
Junior Rowan Carmichael said, “I have to get used to the new 2 hour schedule, it is weird.”
Because of construction, there will be many new adjustments this year, and the two hour delay schedule is one more. After September, there are two other scheduled days in the calendar, both later in the school year.
