The sophomore class election has been completed and the results have been announced. Conor Blaser won class president, Natalie Frank is vice president, Grace Ermlich was announced treasurer, and Abby Iachini got social media chair. Abby gives her insights on her goals for improving our school stating, “I’m going to improve the school’s outward appearance overall, and social media is how you do that nowadays.”
The class officers will meet periodically to discuss how to make improvements to our school and how to fix issues that come about. The first meeting will be held September 7th after school and will be hosted by Ms.Wahl. President Conor Blaser is extremely excited about the meeting and having the opportunity to share his ideas. He says that he wants to use fun fundraisers to help raise money for fun events for the sophomore class.
Not only is the sophomore student council excited to make changes, but they are looking forward to being able to collaborate together so they can better the entire school. It is nice to know that they will all be working together to discuss their ideas in mind for Avonworth and we are all eager to see how it turns out.

Overall the 23-24 student council of the sophomore class are all really looking forward to making some positive changes for the students at Avonworth High School.
