College Visits Shift to 12 noon and LEAD in 2023

Every year, over 50 different colleges come and visit Avonworth, and send a representative to talk about their school to help get recognition.

Schools that stand out this year are CMU, Michigan State, US Air Force, Case Western Reserve, etc.

Counselor Nicole Levis was asked about the most common college students attend. “According to our data since 2021, the University of Pittsburgh and Penn State University Park are the most attended schools by our graduates. If I were to look back further, I’m sure the data would be the same.”

Senior Alek Wert was asked if these visits helped him with his decision. “Yes, they have given me more information about the different colleges that I might be attending.”
