Get Ready With Me’s have been popular on YouTube since as early as 2011. Over the summer they started becoming very popular on the social media platform TikTok. Ever since these videos have started going viral, many people have been creating some of their own. These creators film themselves getting ready for things such as school, sports games, parties, and other events. While filming these videos they showed their viewers their skincare routines, shared stories, and talked about the events they will soon be attending.
When asked if she films Get Ready With Me’s, sophomore Reese Long said “Yeah, it gives me something to do and talk to, while I’m getting ready.”
Sophomore Emma Zelinko was asked if she watches Get Ready With Me’s she responds by saying, “Yes, I really enjoy watching them when I’m bored.”
