The new wave of construction has brought with it many new room shifts for the high school. Rooms 307, 308, 309 and Mr. Pastore’s room were all closed down and teachers shifted into renovated classrooms in the H hallway, including English teacher Mr Pastore. who shared his feelings on the new rooms. He commented that the white paint “Feels like a white asylum and drives him insane.”
Many students that have classes in the new rooms share the same opinion that they are too bright and makes them feel “suffocated.” There have also been concerns about the carpeting in the rooms, especially student Case Latore, who feels they will get dirty very fast. “We are in a school where accidents and spills happen all the time. How can we carpet the floors? They will get dirty so quickly.”

Mr. Mancini moved from 307 into 210, where Mrs. Hart taught French classes at the start of the year.
Mr. Tuffiash moved from 308 into 209, where Mrs. Li taught Chinese classes at the start the year.
Mrs. Long moved from 309 into 211, where Mrs. Waddell taught Math classes from the start of the year.
A few months later, March, Long and Mancini returned to the newly remodeled classrooms.
Special Education teachers Ms. Wahl and Mrs. Negron moved into the remodeled 208.
I enjoyed the utilization of pictures in this article, it helps clarify lots of the text.
I had a great read. I enjoyed the pictures and the writing explaining the new roos. I do wish, though, that you incorporated more teachers’ responses to their newly updated rooms. I would love to hear their opinions.
The use of pictures in this article was great and using quotes from both teachers and students helped strengthen the article.
