Paul Skenes will make his 3rd start of the season today. The Pirates take on the San Fransico Giants at 12:35 at PNC Park. Lots of people attending the game are questioning if the Pirates will have a large crowd for Skenes second home start. Since it is a day game, the Pirates wouldn’t normally have above 10,000 people in attendance. However, I believe Skenes will bring out upwards of 20,000 fans to today’s game.
I walked around the halls of Avonworth High School asking students what they thought the attendance would be like and how Paul Skenes would do.
In the responses I received from students, Many thought the game would bring out around 20,000 fans. The students I discussed this with believe that since many people were unable to attend Skenes first start due to ticket prices will now show up to today’s cheaper game.
The students I talked to think that Skenes will dominate like he did in Chicago. I agree with the students who believe this and I think that Skenes will get the win today to secure the series win for the Pirates.
