On September 28, Ben Avon is welcoming the community to a fall festival for an autumnal afternoon filled to the brim with games, coffee, and excitement for the upcoming season.
From 10 am to 3 pm, booths will be along Church Avenue, Forest Avenue, and Hilands Avenue with 50+ vendors ranging from arts & crafts, food, home decor, and local services. Expect to see activities of kid’s games, raffles, used book sales, and music entertainment. The day is expected to be cloudy and mid-70 degrees F.

Avonworth students from our own Key Club will also be volunteering for the event, so expect to see some familiar faces.
When asked their favorite things about the fall season, students responded:
“The colors and just like the scenery. It’s also like really happy.” – Bella Gasparre
“Probably the weather and the football games” – Grace Kuretich
“Pumpkin chai from Starbucks, or just Chai in general is very good” – Sophia Smolinski
“Just the vibes. It’s pretty with the leaves falling down, and there’s Halloween, and you get to watch movies and stuff. Apple cider, I love apple cider.” – Lyra Klinedinst
