On Thursday, April 30th, Dr. Dwuilt led the pledge and then alerted students to see their email for announcement and the adjusted schedule MODS A-D.
Adjusted schedule for the morning….Mod A: 8:00-8:35
Mod B: 8:38-9:13
Mod C: 9:16-9:51
Mod D: 9:54-10:30 (will call students from here – WAIT until called)
Pep Rally: 10:40-10:53
Dr. Dwuilt announced the end of Mod A over the loudspeaker instead of the Taco Bell bell at regular times (removing 5 minutes from each class).
The rally ran under 15 minutes, enough time for Gabby Beck to announce the prom court, Junior officers to plug the upcoming Junior Carnival, and Mrs. James to plug the upcoming Art Show.
Instead of games or activities, students left immediately into 9/10 Lunch and 11/12 LEAD.
Another new wrinkle to this Pep Rally is the school debut of the refurbished bleachers, which were worked on over a few weeks in late winter, early spring.
One final wrinkle were Media Arts students wrapping up on-location filming for their short films, which lead to unusual sights in the halls.
