Thank you to Kara Droney, Public Relations Director, for the background information posted on the school district website about the first ever Chalkfest event.
Avonworth’s first ChalkFest was a colorful addition to this year’s Homecoming celebration. More than 100 students created artwork inspired by the theme “Avonworth Is Home,” filling the event with creativity and school spirit.
Congratulations to this year’s winners:
- Grand Prize: Melody Zheng, Norah Schenk and Abby Shaulis
- High School: Abby Gamble, Poppy Wagers and Kate Stolz
- Elementary School (tie): Asher Bacon; Ava and Ella Baranowski
- Primary School: Violey, Rosalie and Magnolia Ewing, and Ada Parsons
Thank you to all the students who participated and everyone who helped make ChalkFest such a success. We can’t wait to do it again next year!
