For Mrs. Selep’s Anatomy and Physiognomy Class, one student in 2026 decided to build their knowledge
about the anatomy of a skin cell through the pastry arts.
Sophomore Mavis Meagher said the most troublesome part was inserting the chocolate ‘hairs’ without breaking them.Of the assignment, Mrs. Selep commented that it’s more interesting and engaging to assign a project like this instead of one more teacher-led lecture.Estimating the total amount of frosting to make was also difficult. Megan said she ran out before covering the whole cake, so with some skilled application, she was able to thin out the amount in the middle to make it stretch.
