The Steelers have many questions floating around after losing two straight games at home to two two-win teams.
After the firing of Matt Canada, things looked up for the Pittsburgh Steelers offense as they put up over 400 yards of offense for the first time in over 3 years in the first game without Matt Canada.
However, the positives didn’t last very long as they lost to the 2-10 Cardinals at home 24-10 while starting quarterback Kenny Pickett sprained his ankle, and Mitch Trubsky came to fill in.
After a short week, they hosted the Patriots on Thursday Night Football. After a very cold start, they couldn’t complete their late comeback as they lost.
Students were asked about the Steelers and what was going to happen looking forward.
Sophomore Cooper Scharding said, “They’re done winning because our quarterback play is bad.”
Freshman Dimitri Velisaris blamed it on the coaching staff: “I see a terrible rest of the season coming ahead of them because of their coaching staff.”
Junior Vicky Herleman instead kept her hopes up. “I’m staying positive because I trust in Kenny Pickett when he comes back.”
